Grant Wood's
Revolt Against the City
This project is an exhibition design concept package I made in class. It's an art exhibition of Grant Wood's artwork and is based on his manifesto entitled, Revolt Against the City.
I tried to expose Wood's somewhat
radical (for the time) Regionalist ideology and to recontextualize his work into a
more historical context of pre-WWII America.
Wanna see it all really, really big?

Building A Canal, Constructing Race
This project was my final Master's thesis project. It is an exhibit designed to explore the social construction of race. This is accomplished by viewing racism and segregation of the laborers that built the Panama Canal in the American-controlled Panama Canal Zone.
